Corrections & Retractions
JQPP aims to preserve an accurate and transparent publication record. Post-publication changes are handled according to the significance of the issue rather than silently replacing substantive content.
Minor corrections
Minor typographical, formatting, or metadata errors that do not materially affect interpretation may be corrected without treating the article as unreliable. Where useful, the article record may state that a correction was made.
Substantive corrections
When an error materially affects part of the analysis, evidence, attribution, or interpretation but does not invalidate the article as a whole, JQPP may publish a correction notice and link it to the article record.
Retraction
Retraction may be appropriate where findings or claims are no longer reliable because of major error, fabricated or falsified material, serious plagiarism, rights violations, fraudulent authorship, or another issue that substantially undermines the integrity or legality of the publication.
Withdrawal before publication
Authors may request withdrawal before publication. After publication, removal is exceptional because the article forms part of a public record; correction or retraction is normally preferred where possible.
Article versions
If JQPP later supports formal versioning, materially revised versions will be identified rather than presented as if they were unchanged originals. Earlier public records may be preserved where appropriate to maintain transparency.
How to raise a concern
Provide the article title or URL, a precise description of the issue, and supporting evidence where available. The active contact channel will be published on the Contact page before submissions open.
