None. Payment does not influence acceptance and cannot purchase acceptance.

Pricing rule

The same publication fee applies regardless of article type, author seniority, institution, or topic. International submissions are billed at US$300. Payments billed in Japan use the domestic tax-inclusive price of ¥39,800.

What the publication fee covers

• Final publication record and article landing page
• Hosting of the accepted PDF and public article metadata
• Issue assignment and archive listing
• Standard citation and discovery metadata generated by the JQPP publication system
• Editorial administration and final publication checks

What the fee does not buy

The publication fee does not purchase research authorship, substantive ghostwriting, guaranteed acceptance, external peer review, expedited editorial treatment, a DOI, indexing, or any other credential that JQPP does not actually provide.

Waivers

Any waiver offered for a journal-commissioned contribution or other exceptional reason must be determined independently of the acceptance decision. Waiver status does not affect editorial assessment.

Withdrawal and refunds

Authors may withdraw before payment. Once payment has been made and production or publication work has begun, refunds are not automatic. Any refund or cancellation terms applicable at checkout will be stated before payment is accepted.
